couple holding handsThat day, while he was getting down on one knee and your heart was trying to break your ribs, your days got shorter. And not because of the daylight savings time. Because all of the sudden, the somewhat quiet and peaceful life of expecting the “big question” turned into a turmoil of things to do with each one fighting for the top of the list.

After months of chaos, the day finally arrives, the morning jitters wake you, and everyone is dancing around you. The hair, make up, dress, shoes, bouquet, rings….and you may kiss the bride!

And then you wake up. Rested. Your mind desperately seeking for things to do. After months of hard workouts, it lingers and wanders freely and happily. It’s over. Or, is it? What do you do when the craziness is over? Continue Reading »

Finally back again…

IMG_4096-2It’s been a while since I wrote.Seems like it was forever ago I prepared for the bridal shows and created new styles to impress my brides and grooms. And I’m happy to say that they really were impressed.

I’m also happy to say that I finally decided to dedicate myself to this full time. And to stay at home with my baby boy. This was a tough decision as I was never in a situation when I didn’t have  a “real” job. But I plan to make The Bridal Flower my real job and get the most important benefit: provide mommy and me time.

So stay tuned, I will be back and more often :)

Life is not perfect. We learn that every day. So it will be hard to expect your wedding day to go without a glitch no matter how many planners, helpers, wizards or minions you employ. That’s something I’ve witnessed at many weddings, including my own. Continue Reading »
